For shipping, transport, or extended storage, your Salt&Pepper must be completely turned off to prevent it from accidentally turning on. Press the mode button on the bottom of the light three times briefly to put your Salt&Pepper into sleep mode. To wake Salt&Pepper, press the mode button once briefly.
