Luminaires with E27 sockets, or those powered by high-voltage halogen bulbs, can be operated with commercially available LED retrofit bulbs. As a quality criterion, we recommend a light color of 2700 Kelvin (warm white) and a color rendering index of at least Ra90. Not every retrofit bulb is dimmable, so you should bear this in mind when selecting a bulb. We cannot make any recommendations for luminaires powered by low-voltage halogen bulbs or fluorescent bulbs. LED retrofit bulbs are also available here, but the transformer or converter integrated into the luminaire means that function is not always reliable due to the very low load. The transformer or converter can also be damaged by underload, or the retrofit bulbs by overload. Please understand that we are very reluctant to make recommendations in this regard, because if a recommendation we make leads to any component damage or malfunction, you will not feel that we have provided good advice.
